Step-by-Step
1Lay out a big square foundation
Flatten a large area and lay stone bricks in a big square outline — at least 15×15 blocks. Make the walls 4 blocks tall to start. Leave a 3-block gap in the front wall for your gate.
2Build corner towers with battlements
At each corner, build a 6-block-tall square tower. Top the towers with a ring of stone brick blocks spaced out (battlements) so archers can peek through. Add an iron door at the main gate.
3Add flags, lights & a courtyard
Place wool flags on top of each tower. Line the walls with torches so monsters never spawn, then build a courtyard inside with a well, garden, and your main keep. Your castle is complete!
★ Pro tip: Build your walls two blocks thick — it looks more realistic and stops skeletons from shooting through gaps.
